Motivators

Today I enjoyed a two-hour bicycle ride through my sunny living room. A new motivator has been added to my living room view shed and that motivator is a photo taken by the one and only Super K (now available with sparkles).

My words can’t adequately describe the beauty of her photograph, but I can at least tell you about the subject matter. The photo depicts a door leaning against a tree in a forest. A bicycle partially covered by a tarp leans against the door. The perspective of the photo is fantastic. I enjoyed many glances at the new photo during my ride.

The ride went very well. My legs feel strong and my stamina has not let me down. By the end of the two hours I was a little sore from the saddle.

Shortly after stepping off of the bike I noticed a pain in my left shin. I’m not concerned about the pain, but it does highlight the fact that I still have much conditioning left to do.

Today I was goal driven for much of my ride. I focused on different parts of New Hampshire that I will be cycling through. I know that I have a long way to go and much training ahead of me, but it is difficult to feel anything but good after a great ride.

Sequoia Fast and I will be riding into the sunset. Chat soon.
